VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL --
For one week each summer, we have an exciting time of worshipping, learning, and fun as children Kindergarten through fifth grade come together for this special event. Pilgrim youth in sixth grade and older participate as assitants to adult leaders making this a popular program for every age group to be involved.
THE POTTER'S HOUSE --
Join us on Sunday Morning at "THE POTTER'S HOUSE"-
"The Potter's House" is an exciting new curriculum and focus which will offer our kids a structured time of learning during Sunday Morning worship and will be substantially different from the Sunday school Curriculum. This will allow the kids to attend both without redundancy. September thru May
Jeremiah 18:2-3 says, "Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message." 3 So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him."
SUNDAY SCHOOL --
There is a class for every age at Pilgrim. We have a nursery for babies up to age 2 and classes for every child and adult beginning at age 2. Sunday School begins at 9AM on Sundays and runs until 10:00AM. September thru May
CARAVAN --
Caravan is a Christian Scouting Program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and runs September through April on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 8pm. The only cost for Caravan families is a $5 registration fee for each child which helps defray expenses of the program throughout the year. The children experience growth through this program both socially and spiritually. They receive an offering each evening that they meet which goes toward a year-long mission program chosen by the leaders at the beginning of each new year and also the Caravan Children sponsor an Ethiopian school-age girl year-around. The program includes worship through singing, Bible Stories, Scripture Memorization, Prayer, and at least two times a year the children have special nights set aside for salvation messages to ask Jesus into their hearts. The children have field trips, visit Hazle Findlay Country Manor and Clinton Commons (singing to the residents and visiting with them), earn badges which are awarded at the end of each year, and some of the older troops take turns helping with bingo at Hazle Finlay Country Manor once a month. There is gym time, kitchen time, craft time, and even party times!
CHILREN'S CHOIR -
If you are age 4 through age 10, Children's Choir is for you. Please join us for practice on Wednesday evenings between 6 and 6:25pm in the Church Chapel. We hold practice every night there is Caravan. If Caravan cancels - we cancel. Children's Choir Director is Nicole Gregory.
