What Can I Expect at a Worship Service?
Service will last around 30 minutes. We will sing praise songs, read scripture from the Holy Bible and listen to a sermon by Pastor Andy Croel.
We have Worship services at 9, 10 and 11 am. Please note the steps we have taken to help keep our congregation safe and healthy during this pandemic. We ask that you would sign up for the worship service that you would like to attend by emailing, office@pilgrimumchurch.com, or calling the church office at 989-224-6865. We are limiting our services to 50 or less people. The Sanctuary will be sanitized in between each service. Mask wearing is highly encouraged and appreciated. (There are masks available in the entryway as you come in the main entrance.) We ask that you social distance and sit with your family. The pews have been taped and marked accordingly to help guide you in this process. At the end of each service we will be releasing people from the back pew and working towards the front pew so there will be less people passing through the exit area. If you are sick we ask that you please worship from home. Thank you for your patience! We are so glad to be worshiping in house again! Our first worship service back in house was on June 12th. We give all the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ!
We typically celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month.
(Methodist understanding of communion)

How Do I Join the Church?
Pastor Andy leads a membership class twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Sign-ups are available just outside the sanctuary prior to the beginning of membership classes. Membership class lasts for 5 weeks and in it we cover the book, “Key United Methodist Beliefs.” If you have any other questions on membership, feel free to contact us.
Baptism
We typically have two times during the year when we baptize: once on All Saint’s Sunday (the first Sunday of November) and the other on Holy Saturday (the Saturday before Easter Sunday). Prior to baptism, those being baptized will meet with the Pastor. If you have been baptized in another Christian denomination, then you have already received a Christian baptism. If you have any questions on the United Methodist Church’s beliefs on baptism, you can read more here.
